After the Storm

Sometimes collectors are very specific with their vision and directions, while others are the complete opposite.  The collectors who requested this painting told me:  Orange, we love orange; and water, can you paint water; make it crazy, but not too crazy.  I find it invigorating when someone loves my work enough to commission a piece, and also has the confidence in my skills to give me  freedom to create.
